The Row Fall 2014 Ready-to-Wear

Pioneered by the goddesses that are THE Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, The Row has delivered once again with this mostly hand-knit collection. Made up of voluminous coats, cowl-neck jumpers and asymmetric hem skirts The Row has executed the perfect level of androgyny. With the majority of the garments made of 900 gram double faced Cashmere, the collection resembled true luxury.

This collection would certainly bring any girl joy on a Winters day with enormous scarves draped like cloaks, broad collared jackets with lapels, plush sweaters, blanket-like flared skirts and fur and fringe trimmings all of which illustrated an understated elegance which was all the more accentuated by the accessories. The masculine-esque oxford brogues with slouchy, scrunched down socks accessorized each and every look along with crocodile bucket bags which are simply to die for.

Overall there was a huge play on volume with fabrics so fine the area of focus lied with the draping and shape, the colour palette was fairly muted sticking to tonal nudes, browns and charcoal.
